New Parking Garage Opens in Atlantic City, NJ

Tanger Outlets New Parking GarageAtlantic City, New Jersey – An amazing new parking facility has opened in Atlantic City at Fairmount ave and Mississippi ave at the Atlantic City Expressway.  The garage is in place to create easy access parking for patrons for Tanger Outlets, the Walk, as well as convention center overflow and parking for larger events in Atlantic City like the Airshow or events at Boardwalk Hall.  Basically the garage supports the entire Atlantic City Tourism District.

When I say this is a state-of-the-art parking facility, it may be an understatement.  The cost to build was $32 million, features such as 1,677 solar panels on the top floor that generate over 400 kilowatt hours per day, glass enclosed elevators, over 16,000 square feet of retail space, 1,180 parking spaces, 5 levels of parking and several payment stations.  This one is amazing, there are 6 charging stations for electric cars of the future.  Customers can pay for parking using EZ Pass, Cash, Debit Card or Credit.

When a local business validates your parking ticket, you receive a special price of $4 for up to 2 hours.  There are all kinds of pricing benefits for Tanger Outlet employee’s and others.  Special monthly fee of $50 per car, and the general pricing is $3 for the first hour and $ 7 – $10 for up to 8 hours of parking.

When visiting Atlantic City and not staying overnight, look this new parking facility on the right as you enter town, it’s nickname is the Wave Parking Garage.  Have fun, we’ll see you in AC soon!

It’s great that the facility is generating it’s own energy through solar panels and is the state of the art parking facility in Atlantic City. The NJTA and CRDA named it the Wave Parking Facility on Fairmount and Mississippi ave just off the expressway on the right as you look towards Angelo’s Fairmount Tavern.
