Many Atlantic City visitors aren’t aware of this really unique walkway along the bay in the Marina District.  The Baywalk connects the Golden Nugget to Harrah’s and Harrah’s to the Borgata. Plans have been announced to upgrade this experience by adding local and regional artists sculptures, more landscaping and a fantastic lighting package.If you are staying in the Marina or just want to stroll along and check it out, you can park on the surface lot at Harrah’s or Golden Nugget and begin your walk.  These are the only two ways to gain easy access to the walkway. More cool news from the Atlantic City Hotel Experts! Grand Opening Scheduled for Friday May 24, 2013 – Both Restaurants! It’s been confirmed that Resorts Casino has signed an agreement with Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville entity.  The official announcement will come next week as Resorts has scheduled a Press Conference to share the details of agreement.  Early information about this relationship is as follows: 1. They will rebuild Steeplechase Pier and construct an amazing Margaritaville Land-Shark Bar & Grill over the Atlantic Ocean with fantastic views and another waterfront experience from Jimmy Buffett. 2. A 350 seat Margaritaville Restaurant will be added inside Resorts Casino inside the Boardwalk entrance at the current site of the Breadsticks Bar & Grill, outdoor seating will be available. 3. In recent months, since the introduction of a potential online gaming Bill AS 2578 being signed into law by Governor Chris Christie, The Rational Group, has agreed in principal to purchase Atlantic Club Casino on the Boardwalk.  The struggling casino  has also been known as the Hilton, ACH, Golden Nugget over the years. The Bill is known as AS 2578 has already received the green light from the NJ Senate and the New Jersey State Assembly. Now, the entire matter rests on the discretion of Chris Christie, the Governor of NJ. Within next 35 days, he has the option to sign or veto this bill that has been in the works for a few years.
